If your case was filed in Wyoming, you may have encountered an issue entering your case number into the TFS website during the enrollment process, and have received the error message that the “Case Number could not be located.”
If you received this message, it may be because your trustee Adam Goodman, administers cases in two states, Colorado and Wyoming. Because of this, cases where that number appears in both states may result in duplicate case numbers.
In order to sign up with TFS, Wyoming debtors will need to change the first digit after the dash from a “2” to a “0” (zero) when entering the case in TFS. For example:
